Our Clinical Pilates sessions in Whitchurch, Cardiff are one-to-one, designed for people with pain, injury, or movement limitations.
Unlike general Pilates classes, sessions are led by qualified chiropractors, ensuring exercises are safe, effective, and tailored to your needs.
Clinical Pilates focuses on improving strength, control, posture, and movement quality, helping you move with less pain and more confidence.
Clinical Pilates is a modified form of the original Pilates taught by Chiropractors, Osteopaths and Physiotherapists. Clinical Pilates aims to help clients develop their deep postural core muscles that support the spine and improve posture and functional movement. Clinical Pilates can also address muscle control, flexibility, stress & tension and nerve mobility issues.
Clinical Pilates is ideal if you:
Have ongoing back or neck pain
Are recovering from injury or flare-ups
Have been advised to exercise but feel unsure how
Want personalised, supervised rehabilitation
Prefer a clinical setting, not a gym
All exercises are adapted to your pain levels, ability, and goals.
Before your assessment, if you're not already a chiropractic patient, you’ll attend an initial assessment. Your clinician will:
Review your medical history and goals
Assess posture, movement, and strength
Design a personalised Pilates-based rehabilitation plan
You’ll also receive guidance on safe exercises to practise at home.
We offer Clinical Pilates near you at both our Cardiff clinics:
