Yes — when performed by trained therapists using proper positioning and techniques, pregnancy massage is safe and supportive for both mother and baby.

How Should I Prepare for a Pregnancy Massage?

Wear comfortable clothing and communicate any discomfort or health concerns with your therapist before the session. We’ll ensure you’re fully supported with pillows and bolsters.

How Soon After Giving Birth can I Have a Massage?

We recommend waiting until your six-week postpartum check-up when your doctor or midwife can give you the okay to go ahead. This will allow your body time to heal.

Following C-section this is also the minimum, depending on how well your incision has healed. If in doubt please seek medical advice before booking.
