BETTER FOR YOU,
BETTER FOR THE ANIMALS,
BETTER FOR THE PLANET
Vegetarian and vegan diets have been 'trending' recently more than ever before. Due to concerns about our health, our animal friends and our planet, more of us nowadays are moving away from animal-based foods and more towards a plant-based way of eating. It is easier today than ever before, with supermarkets and online retailers supplying plant-based options, but many of us still feel intimidated about making the switch. Will I get enough protein? Will I be lacking any vitamins? Can a plant-based diet support a healthy pregnancy, or allow me to reach my sporting goals? Can I still eat out and at home with my family?
Loretta Daley is here to answer all these questions and more.
A long-time sports massage and physiotherapist, ultrarunner and vegan, Loretta has been studying plant-based nutrition as a hobby since first going vegan in 1991. During the summer 2020 lockdown, she studied for a Level 3 Diploma in Vegetarian and Vegan Nutrition, passing with a Distinction.
If you wish to embrace a more plant-based approach to your nutrition, Loretta is here to guide you. This could help with:
Weight Loss Energy Levels Appearance of Hair and Skin Digestive Problems Balance of Female Hormones Improvements in Mood Easing of Chronic Pain and Inflammatory Conditions Circulatory Disorders Asthma Diabetes Better Sporting Performance
Loretta will consult with you about your current state of health and lifestyle, and your goals and aspirations for the future. Then you will be asked to complete a food diary for a week to see how and where plant-based choices can fit in with you as an individual. The extent to which you want to embrace plant-based living is totally up to you, and Loretta is here to help you every step of the way.
