as well as a specialist therapy for people who have experience multiple traumas called

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is an approach a lot of people find helpful. CBT asks people to take a step back from what they are feeling, and to see the impact our thoughts (or cognitions) have on our behaviours. CBT aims to help people both manage symptoms, but also develop different patterns to enable the client to become their own therapist.
People often wonder what type of therapy is best for them, and it may take a few sessions for us to find the best fit for your needs.
We usually start with a brief telephone call, or a meeting face to face to help us figure this out together.
I offer 1:1 support for adults 16+, and work in an evidence based manner in line with NICE guidelines. It is an LGBTQ+ friendly service.
